** NuCana plc's NCNA.O shares fall 26.6% to $0.91
premarket
** European Patent Office has issued judgment late on Friday
declaring drug developer's '190 patent' as not valid
** '190 patent' was filed by NCNA in July 2003, with claims
covering a small group of phosphoramidate nucleotides, including
sofosbuvir, the active ingredient in treatment of Hepatitis C
** "While we are disappointed by these decisions, they do
not impact our core business of developing innovative new
medicines for the treatment of patients with cancer" said CEO
Hugh Griffith
** NCNA was down 13% YTD
