** NXL soared as much as 27.5% to its highest since July 6
earlier in the session on media report of a possible takeover
offer from U.S.-based co Reveal (https://bit.ly/3BuDA33)
** Shares drop after co confirmed it has not received a bid
or a written proposal from Reveal urn:newsml:reuters.com:*:nASX8THjzZ
** More than 4.3 mln shares change hands, 4.4 times the
30-day average of 988,774 shares
** As of last close, stock down 68.6% this year
