** Shares of Nurix Therapeutics Inc  NRIX.O  rise ~5% to
$12.50 after market 
    ** Company says U.S. FDA has cleared its application for
trial of its experimental cancer drug NX-5948
    ** Clearance to allow expansion of Nurix's early-stage study
of the drug into sites in the U.S., according to company
    ** Company plans to enroll first patient in the U.S. for
trial in H1 of 2023
    ** Drug being studied for treating patients with relapsed
and refractory B-cell malignancies, which include certain types
of blood cancers such as lymphomas and leukemias, company says
    ** As of last close, stock down ~59% YTD
