DR Horton, Lennar rise as Berkshire discloses stake

** Shares of homebuilders DR Horton  DHI.N  and Lennar
 LEN.N  rise ~2% premarket as Warren Buffet-run Berkshire
Hathaway  BRKa.N  discloses stake
    ** As of June 30, Berkshire owns about 5.97 million DR
Horton shares worth $726.4 million and about 153,000 Lennar
shares worth $17.2 million
    ** Berkshire also invested in 11,112 shares of NVR  NVR.N ,
worth $70.6 million
    ** The investments were disclosed in a regulatory filing
that detailed Berkshire's U.S.-listed stock holdings after
markets closed on Monday
     ** YTD, DHI shares up 38.30% and LEN up 36.87% compared to
a 40.82% rise in PHLX Housing Index  .HGX
