    ** Stock set to mark worst intraday pct fall ever, if losses
hold
    ** Co says its cholesterol-lowering drug candidate will not
be taken forward into the planned phase I/IIa clinical trial
    ** Adds pathology analysis reveals adverse signal observed
in final toxicology study, precluding the drug candidate from
clinical evaluation in cholesterol-lowering
    ** Stock has fallen 45.5% this year, as of last close
