** Stock marks its biggest intraday pct loss since Oct. 2, 2024

** Biotechnology co raises A$8.25 million via placement at an issue price of A$0.300 per share

** Issue price is at a 18.9% discount to stock's last close

** About 1.5 mln shares traded, 2.8x the 30-day average

** YTD, stock up more than 200%
