Wall Street's main indexes inched higher on Wednesday, as technology stocks steadied following a sell-off in the previous session, while a stronger-than-expected private payrolls report did little to alter expectations of a rate cut in December. .N

At 10:30 EST, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.18% at 47,171.62. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.35% at 6,795.20, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.55% at 23,476.34.
