Zara owner Inditex said on Wednesday it had a strong start to summer trading with currency-adjusted sales growth of 11.5% in May, beating analysts' expectations, and said its sales grew 8.8% in currency-adjusted terms over its first quarter running from February to April.
NATURGY NTGY.MC
Naturgy said on Tuesday it had been notified by Corporacion Financiera Alba that Rioja Acquisition sold all of its shares in Naturgy, terminating its contract.
Naturgy also said on Tuesday its electricity distribution unit UFD had carried out improvements to the power network in Tomiño, Pontevedra province, with an investment of over €400,000.

Spanish hotel groups Melia, Iberostar and Barcelo are scaling back or reassessing their Cuba operations amid U.S. sanctions pressure, fuel shortages and flight cuts, with Iberostar exiting 12 hotels and Melia operating at about half its capacity, Spanish newspaper Expansion reported on Wednesday.

Spanish construction group OHLA has launched a competitive sale of its services division, led by Ingesan, targeting about €100 million to cut debt, with Portobello-owned Serveo among interested bidders after a restructuring lifted earnings, Spanish newspaper Expansion reported on Wednesday.
