ZURICH/BERLIN, Dec 5(Reuters) - Here are some of the
main factors that may affect Swiss stocks on Tuesday:
CREDIT SUISSE
Credit Suisse has reinstated an independent reviewer to
oversee an investigation into the servicing of Nazi clients and
Nazi-linked accounts, according to U.S. lawmakers who have
probed the issue.
NOVARTIS NOVN.S
Private equity firm Blackstone Inc BX.N is exploring the
sale of Anthos Therapeutics, a developer of a new generation of
blood thinners it launched four years ago with backing from
Novartis AG, according to people familiar with the matter.
BANQUE PICTET
Swiss private bank Banque Pictet has admitted to helping
U.S. taxpayers hide more than $5.6 billion from the Internal
Revenue Service (IRS) and has entered into a deferred
prosecution agreement with the Justice Department, federal
prosecutors said on Monday.
CRYPTOCURRENCY
Pando Asset AG, a digital asset management firm based in
Switzerland, last week became the latest issuer to submit an
application to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to
launch an exchange-traded fund (ETF) tied to spot bitcoin
prices.
