Special Dividend

As a result of the successful exits from Clifford Thames Group and Technical
Software Consultants in recent months, the Board of Octopus Apollo VCT plc is
pleased to announce that a special dividend of 10.7p per share has been
declared.  The dividend will be paid on 17 November 2017 to shareholders on
the register on 3 November 2017 and will be eligible for the Dividend
Reinvestment Scheme.

The special dividend is in addition to the interim dividend of 1.6p per share
announced on 28 September which is payable on 15 December 2017.
