Ocugen rises on completing patient dosing in early-stage gene therapy trial

** Shares of drug developer Ocugen Inc OCGN.O rise 1.5% to
$1.35 premarket
** Co says dosing is complete in the third cohort of its
early-stage trial testing a modifier gene therapy, OCU410ST, to
treat Stargardt disease
** Stargardt disease is a genetic eye disorder that causes
retinal degeneration and vision loss
** Three patients received a single subretinal injection of
the highest dose being tested in the trial- OCGN
** OCU410ST has the potential to be a one-time treatment
given by subretinal injection in the operating room- OCGN
** The trial will assess the safety and efficacy of OCU410ST
and will be conducted in two phases
** Up to last close, stock had more than doubled YTD
