** Shares in Orsted ORSTED.CO rise around 5% after the Danish offshore wind developer said it was challenging the U.S. government's suspension of its $5 billion Revolution Wind project lease and seeking a court injunction
** "Legal action seemed necessary from the outset in the current situation," Sydbank said in a note, adding that Revolution Wind is so close to the finish line that completion is likely, especially if Orsted wins its case
** The outcome, however, remains uncertain as U.S. President Donald Trump's administration's order targets all U.S. offshore wind projects under construction, Sydbank analysts noted
** They added the legal battle may be more protracted and difficult for the courts to override the national security argument raised by the administration
** Shares are among top performers in the STOXX index .STOXX, which rises 0.8%
