The main U.S. stock indexes inched higher on Wednesday, as investors braced for earnings from AI-chip leader Nvidia that are expected to test the momentum of Wall Street's technology-fueled rally. .N

At  13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 0.27% at 45,541.24. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 0.20% at 6,478.38, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 0.14% at 21,572.54.
