Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni said on Tuesday she
plans to visit Lebanon on Oct. 18, just days after Israeli
forces attacked U.N. bases in the country, drawing anger from
many EU capitals, including Rome.

Italy's government plans to raise 3.5 billion euros ($3.81
billion) from domestic banks and insurers as part of its budget
plans, Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini said on Tuesday.
The budget for 2025 includes measures worth around 30
billion euros including tax cuts and welfare measures, the
Treasury said separately.

Revenues at the Italian luxury group fell by 7.2% at
constant exchange rates in the third quarter of the year, hit by
weak demand in Asia, the company said on Tuesday.

Blackrock BLK.N is not involved in government plans to
sell a stake in the postal service, Italian Prime Minister
Giorgia Meloni said on Tuesday, denying press reports on the
issue.

The Italian fashion group said on Tuesday it had appointed
Lorenzo Serafini as the new creative director of its Alberta
Ferretti brand, which will incorporate the Philosophy brand
headed until now by Serafini.

Shares in Digital Data and Olidata closed with double-digit
declines on Tuesday after the heads of the two companies were
under investigation in a bribery probe, according to legal
documents reviewed by Reuters.
Italy's bourse said that no orders without price limits
would be allowed on the shares of the two companies starting
from Oct. 16, pending further notice.
