May 6 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq hit record highs on Wednesday, buoyed by signs of a resolution in the Middle East conflict, while strong earnings from Advanced Micro Devices sparked a rally in chipmakers. .N

At 13:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was up 1.03% at 49,808.43. The S&P 500 .SPX was up 1.11% at 7,339.79, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was up 1.59% at 25,728.70.
