Energy companies fall on hopes for fresh negotiation

** U.S.-listed shares of energy companies fall premarket, tracking decline in oil prices O/R
** Brent crude futures LCOc1 falls 1.16% to $87.08/barrel; U.S. West Texas Intermediate futures CLc1 down 1.71% at $81.08/barrel 
** Prices fall after Iran's foreign ministry said negotiations with the United States could be pursued, based on national interests
** Oil majors Exxon Mobil XOM.N and Chevron CVX.N decline 1.2% and ~1%, respectively
** Oil and gas producers: Occidental Petroleum OXY.N down 1.5% and ConocoPhillips COP.N drops 1.3%
** Refiners: Phillips 66 PSX.N slips 2% and Marathon Petroleum MPC.N loses 1.6%
