July 17 (Reuters) - The S&P 500 and the Nasdaq slipped on Friday, as investors reassessed this year's AI-fueled rally, deepening a selloff in chip stocks, while news of a new AI model from China further soured sentiment. .N

At 11:30 EDT, the Dow Jones Industrial Average .DJI was down 0.05% at 52,527.09.The S&P 500 .SPX was down 0.71% at 7,480.26, and the Nasdaq Composite .IXIC was down 1.42% at 25,515.18.
