Fears of a global economic slowdown weighed on Wall Street's main indexes on
Wednesday, and along with a prolonged inversion in the U.S. yield curve kept
investors at bay.  .N 
    At 11:50 ET, the Dow Jones Industrial Average  .DJI  was down 0.80 percent
at 25,451.83. The S&P 500  .SPX  was down 0.97 percent at 2,791.13 and the
