Dec 8 - The following bids, mergers, acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1430 GMT on Monday:

** Paramount Skydance   launched a hostile bid worth $108.4 billion for Warner Bros Discovery , throwing a wrench into the deal with Netflix in a last-ditch effort to create a media powerhouse that would challenge the dominance of the streaming giant.

 ** Boeing BA.N said it has closed its $4.7 billion takeover of Spirit AeroSystems SPR.N, reacquiring the bulk of the world's largest independent wing and fuselage maker.

 ** Onex has sold its remaining stake in Ryan Specialty, with the firm's CEO Bobby Le Blanc set to retire from the wholesale broker's board.

**  Canadian firm Transcontinental  said it has entered into a stock purchase agreement to sell its packaging unit to ProAmpac Holdings, valuing it at C$2.22 billion ($1.61 billion), including debt.

** IBM  said it will buy data infrastructure company Confluent  in a deal valued at $11 billion, ramping up its cloud-computing offerings to capitalize on an AI-driven demand boom.

** Mirum Pharmaceuticals  said it will acquire Bluejay Therapeutics in a deal worth up to $820 million, adding a late-stage experimental drug for a severe liver disease to its portfolio.

** Antero Resources  said it would buy privately held HG Energy in a deal valued at $2.8 billion, as the U.S. natural gas producer looks to expand its footprint.

** Ageas AGES.BR has agreed to acquire the outstanding 25% stake in its Belgian subsidiary AG Insurance from BNP Paribas Fortis for a total consideration of 1.9 billion euros ($2.2 billion), the company announced.

** Turkey's Pegasus Airlines  said it had signed a deal to acquire Czech Airlines (CSA) and its subsidiary Smartwings in a transaction worth 154 million euros ($180 million) in total, with the goal of expanding globally.

** Robinhood Markets  will acquire Indonesian brokerage firm Buana Capital Sekuritas and licensed digital asset trader Pedagang Aset Kripto, marking the retail trading platform's entry into one of Southeast Asia's major crypto hubs, the company said in a blog post on Sunday.

** Australia's National Storage REIT  said it has signed a scheme implementation deed with a consortium backed by Brookfield Asset Management  and Singapore's GIC for a buyout deal valuing the self-storage operator at about A$4 billion ($2.65 billion).
