    The auditors of TIM have contested the methods with which 
the TIM-Canal Plus joint venture was set up and have presented 
an expose to Italian market watchdog Consob, il Messagero 
reported. Given the importance of the deal, the auditors believe 
that the operation required the majority vote of the independent 
board members, the report added.

    The exit of CEO Tommaso Pompei from Open Fiber, which is 
controlled by Enel, was caused by a row between the CEO and the 
chairman of the broadband company over a possible cooperation 
with Telecom Italia, la Repubblica and Il Sole 24 Ore reported.

    The majority stakeholder of Mediaset, Fininvest, said on 
Wednesday it would vote in favour of the governance change 
proposals made by the board of the Italian broadcaster.

    The luxury goods maker will have its work cut out in 2018, 
its CEO said on Tuesday after the company reported a 25 percent

    European turboprop maker ATR said on Tuesday its new 
airplane orders could outpace deliveries by 50 percent in 2017.

    Italy's Unipol UNPI.MI said on Tuesday it expected to raise 
588.9 million euros ($694.25 million) from the sale of its stake 
in joint venture Popolare Vita, as part of an overhaul of its

    Bank of America Merrill Lynch and Citigroup are in talks 
with the bank to join Mediobanca in the consortium for the

strengthening plan by the first half of next year, Astaldi

    The group said on Tuesday that the placement of 7.5 mln of 
its shares was completed at a price of 25 euro per share.
