Description: The EU has unveiled more sanctions on Russia including the
targeting of luxury goods. The UK has announced a further 370 Russian and
Belarusian individuals and entities are sanctioned, while the US has also
sanctioned a further 15 individuals and one entity. But President Zelensky has
said sanctions haven't gone far enough, calling for a full trade embargo, the
banning of Russian navy vessels from ports around the world and full exclusion
from the swift banking system. Wall Street's main indexes opened higher on
Tuesday ahead of the Federal Reserve's two-day policy meeting as oil prices
extended declines, with investors also assessing the fallout of fresh COVID-19
restrictions in China.
