Result of AGM

 

OptiBiotix Health plc (AIM: OPTI), a life sciences business developing
compounds to tackle obesity, cardiovascular disease and diabetes, announces
that at its Annual General Meeting held earlier today resolutions 1-4 were
duly passed.  Resolution 5, a Special Resolution which sought to give the
Directors power to issue new ordinary shares for cash other than to the
Company's shareholders on a pro rata basis, was not passed.

 

The result of the vote on Resolution 5 does not affect the strategy or the
day-to-day running of the business and the Directors do not currently envisage
that the business would need to raise new funds through the issue of new
shares on a non pre-emptive basis before the 2026 AGM. Should such need arise,
a separate General Meeting would be convened to seek shareholder approval at
the relevant time.
