Optical Cable Corp rises after upbeat Q4 results

** Fiber optic cable maker Optical Cable Corp's OCC.O
shares rise as much as 39.5% to a more-than-three-month high of
$2.93 in early market trade
** Co reports Q4 revenue rise of 12.4% to $19.5 mln, and net
income of 5 cents per share, compared with a net loss of 17
cents per share a year ago
** Sales increased in co's enterprise and specialty markets
for the quarter
** OCC expects opportunities to improve net sales will
continue in fiscal year 2025
** Up to last close, stock has fallen 22.2% YTD
