Oragenics up on starting COVID-19 vaccine candidate study in rabbits

** Shares of drug developer  OGEN.A  rise ~4% to $0.38
    ** Co initiates toxicology study to evaluate safety and
immunogenicity of its intranasal COVID-19 vaccine candidate,
NT-CoV2-1, in rabbits
    ** Findings from preclinical toxicology study will be part
of co's Investigational New Drug filing to FDA to advance
NT-CoV2-1 into human clinical studies
    ** Oragenics has contracted with Frontage Laboratories to
conduct the study, with interim data expected in August
    ** Oragenics has previously demonstrated protection by
NT-CoV2-1 in a hamster study
    ** Shares down ~13% this year, including session's moves
