** European Medicines Agency grants drugmaker  ORTX.O 
accelerated assessment for its gene therapy, OTL-200, to treat
metachromatic leukodystrophy, a type of rare nervous system

    ** An accelerated assessment reduces the review time for a
drug after a company files a marketing application with the EMA 
    ** If OTL-200, acquired from GlaxoSmithKline  GSK.L  in
2018, is approved in the European Union, it will be the first
drug in the market with a potential to cure metachromatic
leukodystrophy - GlobalData 
    ** GlobalData says ORTX's expertise in developing such gene
therapies for rare diseases should help in the long-term
management of its products pipeline 
    ** Majority analysts' consensus on the stock is "buy" or
