** Shares of drugmaker Organon OGN.N surge 14.8% to $12.93 premarket

** India's Sun Pharmaceutical SUN.NS agrees to buy OGN for $14/shr in an all-cash deal valued at about $11.75 bln including debt

** Deal represents a premium of over 24% to OGN's April 24 closing price

** Deal would help SUN expand its women's health portfolio with access to OGN's portfolio of more than 70 products across women's health and general medicines and marks SUN's entry into biosimilars

** As of last close, OGN stock up 57% YTD
