Further expansion of Origin's Environmental business

 

Origin acquires two specialist ecology businesses that add complementary
services for the growing Living Landscapes division

 

Dublin, London, 31 October 2024: Origin Enterprises plc ('Origin' or 'the
Group'), the international group championing sustainable land use solutions,
announces the acquisition of Brooks Ecological Limited ('Brooks') and GE
Consulting Services (UK) Limited ('GE Consulting'), two specialist ecology
businesses in the UK. These acquisitions further complement the Group's
existing Environmental solutions and are aligned with the Group's strategy to
strengthen its presence in this sector as part of the Living Landscapes
division.

 

Brooks provides environmental consultancy services across the UK, bringing
expertise in ecology and biodiversity alongside additional specialisms in
arboriculture and landscape architecture to support clients on planning,
development, and conservation projects. Based in Leeds, Brooks works with
regulatory authorities, charities, and companies ranging from small
enterprises to multi-national corporations.

 

GE Consulting operates across the south of England and South Wales, providing
ecological and arboricultural consulting services and practical land
management solutions. GE Consulting's commercially focused advice serves a
broad range of clients, from housing developers to government agencies.
