Transaction in own shares

Origin Enterprises plc (the "Company") announces that on 23 August 2024 it
purchased a total of 20,000 of its ordinary shares of EUR 0.01 each (the
"ordinary shares") on Euronext Dublin through Goodbody Stockbrokers UC
("Goodbody"), as detailed below.

Volume weighted average price paid (per ordinary share) €3.2072
Following settlement of the above transactions, the Company's total number of
ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) shall be 106,323,039
(each carrying the right to one vote) and the Company's total number of
ordinary shares in treasury (which do not carry voting rights) shall be
18,997,336.
The repurchased ordinary shares will be held in treasury pending their
cancellation or re-issue in due course. The purchases form part of the
Company's €20m share buyback programme announced on 20 November 2023.
In accordance with Article 5(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) No 596/2014 (the Market
Abuse Regulation) (also in force in the UK, from time to time, including,
where relevant, pursuant to the UK's Market Abuse (Amendment) (EU Exit)
Regulations 2019), a detailed breakdown of individual trades made by Goodbody
on behalf of the Company as part of the share buyback programme is set out in
the Appendix to this announcement.
