Orion Group surges on construction contracts worth nearly $200 mln

** Shares of construction co Orion Group  ORN.N  jump 22.1%
to $6.25 in extended trading - set to open at an over four-month
high
    ** Co says it has been awarded a $125 mln contract from the
Florida Department of Transportation to replace a bridge that
provides the main access to the Kennedy Space Center

    ** Co also awarded a $67 mln from the Port of Port Arthur in
Texas for a capacity expansion project
    ** Both projects are expected to complete in 2024
    ** ORN on pace for its best day since March last year and is

    ** Up to Wednesday's close, stock was up 3.2% this year
