Orlen to receive LNG cargo from QatarEnergy next month, data, sources WARSAW, Oct 23 (Reuters) - Polish oil and gas company Orlen PKN.WA will receive a liquefied natural gas cargo from QatarEnergy next month, according to shipping data and two sources familiar with the matter.
LNG tanker Al Kharsaah is due at Poland's Swinoujscie terminal on November 14 after crossing the straits of Hormuz and Bab el-Mandeb earlier this month, shipping data show.
The cargo is the first one since supplies from QatarEnergy under a contract with Orlen were suspended due to force majeure declared on gas exports amid the US-Israeli war on Iran. The force majeure is still in place, one of the people said.
Orlen declined to comment.
