Sept 28 (Reuters) - Below are company-related news and
stories from France and Benelux which could have an impact on
the region's markets or individual stocks.
    
    BENETEAU  CHBE.PA 
    Yachtmaker and boats company on Wednesday posted a rise in
net income to 117.1 million euros in the half-year report, up
121% compared to last year.
    
    FRANCE/POLITICS:
    The French government rammed a long-term public finance bill
through parliament without a vote, in a bid to secure billions
of euros of EU funding.
    
    FRANCE/INFRASTRUCTURE
    The French government plans to introduce a new tax of 600
million euros per year on polluting transport infrastructures,
such as highways and airports, it announced on Wednesday. French
construction company Vinci  SGEF.PA  took note of the plan, it
said the same day, evaluating its impact on the group at 260
millions euros per fiscal year.

    French biotechnological group reported Wednesday a net loss
of 11.8 million euros in the first half of the year, compared to
a loss of 2 million euros last year
    
    PROSUS  PRX.AS 
    Prosus Ventures said on Wednesday it will invest 10 million
dollars in AI infrastructure modeling platform Neara to expand
in natural disaster mitigation and renewable energy.
    
    SOLVAY  SOLB.BR 
    Belgian chemical company announced on Wednesday its
intention to repurchase 800 million euros in senior notes due
2025.
    
    TOTALENERGIES  TTEF.PA 
    French energy group is to increase returns to shareholders
and plans to raise its oil and gas production by 2 to 3% per
year over the next five years, it said on Wednesday.
