POLITICS
An Italian minister and co-founder of Prime Minister Giorgia
Meloni's party sarcastically took aim at the European Central
Bank, pointing to how its policy moves taken on Thursday were
hitting Italian markets.
ECONOMY
ISTAT releases October foreign trade data (0900 GMT) and
November CPI final data (1000 GMT).
ENERGY
Rome is aware of several potential bidders, both domestic
and international, for a Lukoil LKOH.MM -owned refinery based
in Sicily, the Italian industry minister told Reuters on
Thursday.

The European Central Bank has slightly increased the amount
of capital the Italian lender must hold as it takes a fresh look
at banks' assets given risks from the economic downturn and war
in Ukraine.
INTESA SANPAOLO ISP.MI
The European Central Bank has set the minimum threshold for
Intesa Sanpaolo's ISP.MI core capital at 8.88% for next year,
fractionally higher than the current 8.81% requirement, Italy's
biggest bank said on Thursday.
BANCO BPM BAMI.MI
The European Central Bank has raised the minimum core
capital requirement at the Italian third-largest bank to 8.70%
for next year compared with 8.52% at present.
TELECOM ITALIA (TIM) TLIT.MI
Italy's government wants to bring the phone group's
submarine cable unit Sparkle into state hands, four sources
close to the matter told Reuters, as it seeks to map out a new
direction for the debt-laden former monopoly.
The company said on Thursday that Italy's telecoms lobby
chief and former TIM general manager Massimo Sarmi would join
its board of directors, replacing Frank Cadoret who resigned on
Nov. 16.

Shares in the Serie A soccer club were up by more than 7% as
markets closed on Thursday on the back of rumours of a possible
