("Oxford Metrics", the "Company" or the "Group")
Change in Accounting Reference Date
Oxford Metrics plc (LSE: OMG), the smart sensing and software company
servicing life sciences, entertainment, engineering and smart manufacturing
markets, announces that the Company intends to change to its accounting
reference date and financial year end from 30 September to 31 December with
immediate effect. As announced in the Company's preliminary results on
9 December 2025, the business activities and revenues of the Group are
weighted toward the final third of the calendar year. To aid the Group in the
orderly preparation of its financial statements, the Directors consider that
presenting financial statements that have a more balanced first half and
second half weighting is in the best interests of the Group.
The Group's next financial year will now end on 31 December 2026.
As a result of this change, the Group's financial year will now end on
31 December annually, with its reporting timetable as follows:
· publication of unaudited interim accounts for the 6-month period to 31 March
2026, by no later than 30 June 2026;
· publication of unaudited interim accounts for the 12-month period to
30 September 2026, by no later than 31 December 2026;
· publication of audited annual financial statements for the 15-month period to
31 December 2026, by no later than 30 June 2027;
· publication of unaudited interim accounts for the 6-month period to
30 June 2027, by no later than 30 September 2027; and
· publication of audited annual financial statements for the 12-month period to
31 December 2027, by no later than 30 June 2028, and in respect of each
subsequent 12-month periods thereafter.
