Cimpor has construction materials, energy acquisition plans, chairman says

ISTANBUL, Feb 26 (Reuters) - Cimpor Global Holdings, of which Turkey's Oyak Cimento OYAKC.IS is a part, has acquistion plans in construction materials including cement and energy, and will implement some of its plans this year, Cimpor Chairman Suat Calbiyik said.

"We will implement some of our plans this year. We are examining Turkey, the U.S., Britain and Africa within the scope of organic and inorganic growth," he told reporters in Istanbul.

Cimpor Global Holdings carries out the operations of Taiwanese TCC Group Holdings 1101.TW, the world's third largest cement producer, in Turkey, Europe, the United States and Africa.
