Australia's Pacific Nickel Mines climbs on securing Solomon Islands lease

** Shares of nickel explorer Pacific Nickel Mines  PNM.AX 
climb as much as 27.9% to A$0.11, on track for their best day
since Oct. 18, 2021
    ** PNM says it has been awarded a mining lease for the
Kolosori Nickel Project on Isabel Island in the Solomon

    ** Stock hits highest since April 27
    ** Says it has entered into a Surface Access Rights
Agreement with the project area's landowners and completed
regulatory approvals
    ** Says entered into mining agreement with the government of
the Solomon Islands which sets out mining, environmental and
fiscal terms for the project
    ** More than 554,996 shares change hands, vs the 30-day
average volume of 116,555 shares
    ** PNM stock up 4.9% this year, as of last close
