Wall Street's main indexes gained on Thursday after data reflecting strong
economic performance in the fourth quarter boosted hopes of a soft landing,
while Tesla's growth warning kept a lid on investor enthusiasm.  .N

37,842.96. The S&P 500  .SPX  was up 0.18% at 4,877.19 and the Nasdaq Composite
