UK Stocks-Factors to watch on October 15 (updated)

Adds new items, updates futures

Oct 15 (Reuters) - Britain's FTSE 100 .FTSE index is seen opening higher on Wednesday, with futures FFIc1 up 0.40%.

* BUDGET: UK finance minister Rachel Reeves said she was looking at both tax rises and spending cuts for her budget on November 26.

* FCA: The UK's Financial Conduct Authority will outline new strategic priorities for the sector in its upcoming insurance market report, including a focus on how insurers are looking to meet emerging needs around artificial intelligence liabilities and cyber incidents.

* CMA: Britain's competition regulator proposed sweeping reforms to the country's veterinary services market after a probe found that pet owners often lack clear price information and could save hundreds of pounds on medicines.

* ROYAL MAIL: Britain's telecom and media regulator said that it had fined Royal Mail 21 million pounds ($28.1 million), after Royal Mail failed to meet delivery targets for 2024-2025, and warned that the levies are likely to continue unless improvements are made.

* WOOD GROUP: Wood Group WG.L said it named interim CFO Iain Torrens as its new chief executive.

* ENTAIN: Entain ENT.L reported a 6% rise in third-quarter net gaming revenue and reiterated its annual profit forecast.

* JUPITER FUND MANAGEMENT: Jupiter Fund Management JUP.L reported that net inflows for the third quarter were unchanged from the previous three months, as improving sentiment in its retail channel was offset by outflows from institutional clients.

* PAGEGROUP: PageGroup PAGE.L posted a slight drop in third-quarter gross profit, as hiring activity remained subdued in its key European markets.

* COMMODITIES: Oil prices fell on the International Energy Agency's warning of a supply surplus in 2026, gold rose to a fresh high buoyed by rising expectations of further U.S. rate cuts and Shanghai copper declined on trade tensions between the U.S and China.
