Silver miners fall on stronger dollar

** Shares of silver miners fall, tracking prices of the
precious metal  GOL/ 
    ** Spot silver  XAG=  down 1.62% at $24.1/ounce as the
dollar regained footing after U.S. key data showed higher
interest rates were cooling demand in the economy
     ** Shares of Hecla Mining  HL.N  and Coeur Mining  CDE.N 
fall 3.1% and 2.8%, respectively
    ** Canadian miners Wheaton Precious Metals  WPM.TO , MAG
Silver  MAG.TO , First Majestic Silver  FR.TO , Fortuna Silver
Mines  FVI.TO  and Pan American Silver  PAAS.TO  drop between
1.0% and 3.1% 
    ** Miner Endeavour Silver  EDR.TO  falls as much as 3.5%
after announcing CFO change
    ** A firmer dollar makes metals like silver more expensive
for other currency holders
