Silver miners slip as dollar strengthens, yields rise

** Shares of silver miners fall, tracking a decline in
prices of the metal  GOL/ 
    ** Spot silver  XAG=  down 3.3% at $23.01/oz, accompanied by
a 1.5% fall in gold  XAU=  as the dollar and Treasury yields
strengthened
    ** Prices also fell as traders lowered bets for U.S.
interest rate cuts to materialize by March next year following a
stronger-than-expected jobs data
    ** Hecla Mining  HL.N  and Coeur Mining  CDE.N  fall 2.5%
and 2.4%, respectively
    ** Canadian miners Wheaton Precious Metals  WPM.TO , Pan
American Silver  PAAS.TO , MAG Silver  MAG.TO , Fortuna Silver
Mines  FVI.TO  and First Majestic Silver  FR.TO  down between
1.4% and 4.1%
