** Activist investor Irenic Capital Management built a stake in PZZA in Q3, Reuters reports; size of stake not known

** Irenic declined to comment, while PZZA did not respond to  request for comment

** Apollo Global APO.N recently withdrew an offer to take PZZA private at $64 a share

** PZZA has fallen 1% YTD, as of last close
