** Shares of Pasupati Acrylon PASA.NS rise as much as 16.9% to 50 rupees, highest since November 6

** The textiles and leather goods maker said it completed set-up of 150 kilo liter per day grain-based ethanol plant

** Adds, started regular trials and final level testing

** More than 488,000 shares change hands, 8x its 30-day avg

** Day's gains trim losses; stock now down 0.9% YTD
