HK-listed PCCW hits 10-week high as chairman raises stake

** Shares of telecommunication group PCCW Ltd  0008.HK  rise
as much as 4.7% to HK$3.98, highest since Aug 4
    ** Stock to mark biggest one-day pct rise since February
2022, if gains hold; biggest pct gainer in the Hang Seng
Composite Index on telecommunication stocks  .HSCIT  
    ** PCCW Chairman Richard Li bought a total 8.2 mln shares
between Oct. 9 and 12, raising his stake in co to 31.37% from
31.26% - Hong Kong bourse filing 
    ** The Hang Seng Composite Index tracking telecommunication
stocks gains 0.2%, while the Hang Seng Composite Index  .HSCI 
slips 0.6% and the Hang Seng Index  .HSI  eases 0.4%
    ** Stock up 11.9% YTD
