** Private equity firms Renaissance Partners and TPG said they had signed a binding agreement to jointly control SICIT, an Italian company that uses residues from the leather industry to make biostimulants for agriculture. nL8N3RN23C

** Singapore Telecommunications STEL.SI is expected to sell shares worth $1 billion in Indian telecom major Bharti Airtel BRTI.NS on Friday through block deals, the Business Standard newspaper reported, citing sources. nL4N3RN1BO
** Canada's Enbridge said that Stonlasec8 Indigenous Alliance will buy a 12.5% stake in the pipeline operator's Westcoast system for C$715 million ($511.19 million), as Indigenous communities look to own stake in energy firms. nL4N3RN0ZJ
** Dick's Sporting Goods has agreed to buy smaller rival Foot Locker for $2.4 billion, the second major footwear deal this month after the buyout of Skechers, as U.S. retailers look to navigate a tough demand landscape. nL4N3RN0TD
