       July 24 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,
acquisitions and disposals were reported by 1330 GMT on
Wednesday:

        ** Britain's Informa  INF.L  said it had reached a deal
to buy Cannes Lions Festival owner Ascential  ASCL.L  for 1.2
billion pounds ($1.6 billion), adding the flagship ad industry

    ** Australia's Peak Rare Earths  PEK.AX  said Chinese miner
Shenghe Resources  600392.SS  would acquire a 50% stake in an
U.K.-based firm that owns 84% of its Ngualla project in

    ** Robert Bosch has agreed to acquire Johnson Controls'
 JCI.N  and Hitachi's  6501.T  residential ventilation
businesses for $8 billion, it said on Tuesday, in what will be
the German engineering group's largest takeover to date.

    ** Isaac Perlmutter, one of the largest investors in Walt
Disney  DIS.N , has sold his entire stake in the media company
after losing the proxy fight, the Wall Street Journal reported

    ** Israeli cybersecurity startup Wiz has ended talks with
Google-parent Alphabet  GOOGL.O  on a reported $23 billion deal
that would have made it the U.S. tech giant's largest-ever
