RNS Number : 2359I Peel Hunt Limited 12 May 2025

12 May 2025

Peel Hunt Limited

("Peel Hunt" or the "Company")

Fundraise by RetailBook

Peel Hunt is pleased to announce that RetailBook, the comprehensive solution
for issuers wishing to access retail capital, has agreed to raise up to £4.5
million from investors in an equity funding round led by Augmentum Fintech plc
("Augmentum") (the "Fundraise"). The Fundraise includes the £500,000
announced on 16 April 2025. The proceeds of the Fundraise will be used to help
fund the next stage of RetailBook's growth. £3.1m of the Fundraise was
completed on or before Friday 9 May 2025, with the balance to largely complete
following receipt of the requisite regulatory approvals.

RetailBook has operated independently of Peel Hunt since April 2024. In line
with RetailBook's strategy to be an independently owned and managed industry
utility, and welcome new strategic partners on to the shareholder register,
Peel Hunt has agreed to not participate in the Fundraise. Following completion
of the Fundraise, the Peel Hunt group's equity interest in RetailBook Holdings
Limited ("RBHL") will decrease to below 50%.

Steven Fine, Chief Executive of Peel Hunt commented: "This is another
significant step for RetailBook, which became fully operationally independent
of Peel Hunt with its own FCA authorisation in 2024. It has since recruited
the former capital markets team of PrimaryBid, and now adds Augmentum to its
shareholder register alongside existing shareholders Hargreaves Lansdown,
Jefferies and Rothschild & Co. We wish RetailBook every success in its
role as the go to retail access platform."
