Australia's Pentanet eyes best day in nearly 7 weeks on upbeat results

** Shares of Pentanet  5GG.AX  rise as much as 10.5% to
A$0.06, their highest since Jan 17
    ** Co on track for its best day since Dec 18, 2023, if gains
hold
    ** The telecom firm says quarterly consolidated gross profit
came in at A$2.4 mln ($1.58 mln), up 17% from previous year 
    ** Co adds that quarterly revenue is at A$5.2 mln 
    ** About 245,258 shares change hands at 0035 GMT, about 2
times the 30-day average volume of shares
    ** Stock has fallen 8.1% this year, as of last close
