** Shares of Peoplein  PPE.AX  fall as much as 20.97% to
A$0.98, their lowest level since Dec. 12, 2023
    ** Shares of co on track for its worst day since March 24,
2020, if losses hold
    ** Co posts HY profit after tax from ordinary activities
attributable A$5.7 million ($3.73 million), down 60.3% from
previous year
    ** However, co's HY revenues from ordinary activities at
A$602.7 million, up 1.03% from previous year
    ** About 2 million shares change hands, 7 times the 30-day
average volume of shares
    ** Stock has fallen 1.2% this year, as of last close
