PepsiCo, Monster win court reprieve on use of 'energy drink' label NEW DELHI, Oct 6 (Reuters) - An Indian court on Tuesday put on hold the food regulator's order to stop PepsiCo PEP.O and Monster Beverage MNST.O from using the "energy drink" label on their cans, according to a lawyer present at the hearing.
A June 30 order from India's food safety regulator had directed makers of high-caffeine beverages sold as "energy drinks" to stop using the description.
