** Tempus AI TEM.O is acquiring Personalis in a deal valued at $1.5 billion
** Personalis shareholders will receive $16.25/share, a 5.6% premium to the last closing price of $15.39
** Tempus will gain access to Personalis' NeXT Personal cancer test, which helps detect tiny amounts of tumor DNA to monitor treatment response and identify cancer recurrence early
** The deal expected to close in late 2026 or early 2027
** Tempus AI shares down 4.4% at $50.18 before the bell
** As of last close, PSNL up 93.3%, TEM down 11% YTD
