Petards, the AIM quoted developer of advanced security, communication and
surveillance systems, announces that its new subsidiary, Affini Technology
(Affini), has been awarded a contract worth £0.4 million to supply and
install a new digital radio system.

 

The existing system is end-of-life and the customer required a new system that
will deliver strong and reliable coverage across a prestigious central London
site that includes entertainment and hospitality venues as well as schools and
student accommodation. The location has some challenging environments
comprising multiple multi-level buildings and the implementation of the new
system is to be scheduled to ensure the site's ongoing operations will be
uninterrupted.

 

First equipment deliveries are expected to be made before year end, and the
system is scheduled to be fully installed in the first quarter of 2025 with
ongoing maintenance and support being provided for an initial three year term.
